Education
and Registration
Victor is a 1975
honors graduate of Mott Community College, Flint, Michigan, with
an Associate Degree in Land Surveying. He has also completed
numerous engineering, surveying, zoning, and planning courses at
the University of Wisconsin. He was licensed as a Professional
Surveyor (PS) in 1977 and became a Principal of the firm in 1981.
His most recent professional continuing education seminars
attended include: Complete Streets - Promoting & Campaigning for
Communities, Regional Trails & Greenways Summit, Linking
Bicyclists in Michigan, Designing Pedestrian Facilities for
Accessibility, and Effective Grant Writing.
Experience
Victor has been with GEI since June of 1966. He
has been a resident engineer on many sanitary sewer, storm sewer,
watermain and road projects. He oversees all land development
projects. He has extensive experience dealing with the Michigan
Department of Transportation (MDOT), the Michigan Department of
Environmental Quality (MDEQ), and local agencies. He has
extensive community ordinance knowledge and experience. He has
completed expert witness services for private individuals, land
developers, government agencies, and the State of
Michigan. His present position is that of President/CEO and
Quality Assurance/Quality Control Risk Management review. He is a
military Vietnam veteran.
